Philip Burdon has been appointed chairman of the board for Superannuation Investments Ltd and MFL Mutual Fund Ltd, independent trustees for the registered super funds SIL Mutual Fund and MFL Mutual Fund.
He replaces the late James Maddren.
Burdon has been on the board since 1997 and is a former member of Parliament and cabinet minister, plus he is on the board of NZI, Brierley Investments, NZ Post, the World Wildlife Fund (NZ), the Romulo Foundation and the Asia New Zealand Meat Company.
