Sam Maling has been appointed a director of Perpetual Trust Ltd. Perpetual is an established trustee and financial services company formed in 1884, and it is part of the Pyne Gould Corporation Group.
Maling is a barrister based in Christchurch. He is a former president of the Canterbury District Law Society and vice-president of the New Zealand Law Society. He is currently chairman of the Broadcasting Standards Authority and a director of Aspinall NZ Ltd, Pyne Gould Corporation and Pyne Gould Guinness Ltd.
