AXA New Zealand has appointed Blair Turnbull to the new role of manager, Marketing Customer Strategy. Turnbull manages AXA’s relationships with its customers, and is developing new ways in which AXA can help its customers to make the most of their wealth.
He has considerable experience in the marketing of both risk and funds management solutions, and in developing strategies to enhance customer relationships.
AXA has also appointed James Thyne to the position of director, Wholesale Funds.
Thyne manages AXA's relationships with its wholesale customers, and its wholesale marketing and product development.
Before joining Thyne held a number of investment roles with AMP Asset Management, including fixed interest portfolio management in Wellington and Sydney. Whilst in a client service management role, he achieved a substantial increase in funds under management. Thyne was responsible for AMP’s acquisition and integration of Southpac Investment Management Ltd.
