Royal & SunAlliance has decided to merge its asset management team into NZ Guardian Trust although it took over NZGT earlier this year.
The company has decided to keep the Guardian Trust brand name for its funds management as it had a strong brand and bigger client base in the wholesale market than RSA.
Also, RSA has decided to locate its asset managers in Auckland.
Tim McGuinness currently holds the position of chief investment manager, however the company is looking for a new CIM as he is staying in Wellington. MORE FOLLOWS
