Former finance minister joins board

Former finance minister Sir William Birch has been appointed a director of Dorchester Pacific.
Dorchester owns financial planning firm Equity, Invincible Life, Direct Broking and recently acquired the fixed interest and share-broking business of FRP Securities.
Dorchester chairman Murry Radford said "the board of Dorchester was delighted and honoured that Sir William had accepted the appointment as a director to fill a casual vacancy on the board."
"Dorchester welcomes Sir William to the Board and is sure that Sir William will make a valuable contribution to the further development of the Dorchester Group."
