FMG appoints new group regional manager

Farmers' Mutual Group has appointed Bill Montgomery as the new group regional manager.

Montgomery, who was formerly with Marsh Ltd, will also join Farmers' Mutual Group’s senior management team.

He will be responsible for the management of FMG's Northern Region area office network, ranging from the top of the North Island through to Auckland, Franklin and surrounding districts.

"With his strong understanding of rural business, Bill brings valuable regional management experience to Farmers' Mutual Group, which will contribute to the further development of the group’s finance and insurance business in the Northern region" FMG chief executive Gordon Smith says.
