BT's Selth steps down

Monday, July 16th 2001, 9:18AM
Chris Selth, the head of international equities at BT Funds Management has resigned from the company, but will now be a consultant.
He is being replaced by head of equities strategy Paul Durham.
BT says Selth was stepping down from his executive duties in order to "pursue other interests".
Durham, who joined BT in 1988 as a equities analyst, has previously run the firm's US and Latin American portfolios from New York and Asian equities and global emerging markets from Sydney. He was head of equities research before being made head of equities strategy. Chief investment officer Gary Symons says: "We are absolutely committed to being a global equities house, serving clients here and offshore. We want to make sure our teams, people and structures are optimised going forward."
