New chief executive named for Public Trust

Public
Trust has named Tim Sole of Wellington as its Chief Executive-designate.
He will formally take up his role when the Public Trust Bill presently
before Parliament comes into effect.
Until then, David Hutton continues as Public Trustee and Chief Executive of Public Trust. Sole will act as an advisor to the Public Trustee until the new legislation is passed.
Sole was previously Group Chief Executive of State Insurance, and prior to that, Chief Executive of Royal & Sun Alliance Life.
A qualified actuary, Sole has an MBA from
Victoria University of Wellington. He is a past Chairman of the
Life Office Association and Chairman of the Board of the Insurance
and Savings Ombudsman Commission.
