New GSF Authority established

Basil Logan will chair the newly established Government Superannuation Authority.
Other members are Retirement Commissioner Colin Blair, Helen Bowie, David May, Tim McGuinness and Susie Weaver.
Logan has extensive public and private sector board experience. He is the chairman of Opus International Consultants, Cedenco Foods Ltd and Optixlab Sdn Bhd [Malaysia]. He is a director of Interlock Industries Ltd and a member of the Courts Executive Council.
Helen Bowie is a partner at Chapman Tripp Sheffield Young.

David May is former chief executive of Jacques Martin NZ and managing director of Colonial Life NZ.
Tim McGuinness was senior investment management at Norwich Union Investment Management and was chief investment officer at Royal & SunAlliance.
Susie Weaver is a principle of Weaver Consulting Ltd and a former general manager of investments at Armstrong Jones.
