New boss at AMP in NZ

Monday, September 24th 2001, 6:25AM
Ross Kent has replaced John Drabble as managing director of AMP Financial Services in New Zealand.
Kent is currently head of sales strategy for AMP UKFS and has held several other senior strategic planning roles since joining AMP in October 1998.
Earlier, he held senior positions in marketing, strategy and distribution at Prudential in Australia and the UK.
Kent's expertise in these areas and his international perspective will be particularly beneficial in further enhancing what is already a market-leading position in New Zealand, AMP Financial Services head Andrew Mohl says.

"I believe his energetic leadership style will be a great fit with the high-performing and innovative New Zealand team.
Kent will move to Wellington to take up the role within the next two months.
