New boss at Colonial First State

Greg La Peyre has recently been appointed head of the New Zealand office for Colonial First State. He has 18 years' experience within the financial service industry holding senior roles with ANZ Banking Group, Security Pacific National Bank, Bank of America, HSBC and Prudential. La Peyre transferred to Colonial First State following the acquisition of Prudential by Colonial in 1997.

La Peyre will be based in Sydney where he is head of institutional business development and client service for Colonial First State in Australia, but will visit New Zealand frequently. La Peyre's experience will be invaluable in marketing Colonial First State's investment expertise to corporate markets in New Zealand and providing investment management for products distributed by other arms of the Commonwealth Group in New Zealand, namely ASB Bank and Sovereign.
