Matthews has been a financial planner since 1987 and has been at Spicers since 1991.
Over the past 10 years Matthews has developed considerable expertise in the area of financial planning, advising individuals and professional trustees on developing prudent investment strategies.
Matthews holds the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation and is vice-president of the estate and taxation planning council of New Zealand.
