Tower powers up

Wednesday, November 19th 2003, 4:23AM
Tower New Zealand has recently appointed Peter Mansell, Mike Morrison and Rachael Savage to key roles within its employee benefits team.
Mansell has joined the Auckland team as group relationship manager - superannuation, managing a portfolio of group superannuation clients over the top half of the North Island.
With over 20 years experience in financial services in NZ and overseas, Mansell has a strong account management background in the investment and insurance industries.
His experience includes wholesale risk management and a number of roles within the derivatives industry.

Most recently Mansell was a key account manager dealing with large groups at Southern Cross.
Morrison, based in Christchurch, will be responsible for managing TOWER’s group superannuation clients in the South Island. His role will also include the business development function for the groups market, looking for new opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
Morrison has previously held account management roles with Tower and the Trust Company of Australia (Melbourne), and has also been an adviser at Medical Assurance Society.
Savage has been appointed group relationship manager - health, based in Wellington. She will be responsible for managing Tower’s portfolio of group health clients in the lower North Island. This is a new role for the area and signals Tower’s commitment to the group health market.
All three appointments aim to strengthen Tower’s focus on the delivery of high quality customer service to its group clients.
