Sovereign expands investment development team

Sovereign is expanding its investment development team with two appointments. Chris Smith and Ed Aitken have joined the distribution team as investment development managers, both originally from the United Kingdom.Both are qualified Advanced Financial Planners. Aitken spent the last eight years with Scottish Equitable, most recently based in London, and last year was their top national broker consultant.
Smith was formerly a financial adviser with Paul Smith Associates in Leicester, and has worked in Auckland as an investment specialist with Westpac.
