Chris Barry to leave Sovereign

Chris Barry, General Manager, Home Loans is to leave Sovereign to set up his own business. Barry's venture will keep him in the industry and he is hoping to continue a close relationship with Sovereign. He has been planning the move for some time.

Barry has been a part of the Sovereign home loans operation since 1998 and has headed it since June 2003. The growth of the home loans portfolio during his tenure has been outstanding and it is a reflection of his ability that quality and service levels have been so high.

Barry's last day at Sovereign will be 10 December. An announcement on his replacement will be made shortly.
