Floating rates rising post OCR increase; What the changing housing market means for prices Following yesterday's OCR increase rate rises are trickling through for floating and revolving credit products. So far ASB, BNZ, Kiwibank and Westpac have announced increases.

Parore to bat against Pero
Former Black Cap wicket keeper Adam Parore is franchising his mortgage broking business aiming to open 10 branches over the next year.

Parore and business partner Stu Beadle also plan to expand across the Tasman in the next two years, and to ultimately list the company.
Parore says that he plans to become the second most recognised mortgage broking business in New Zealand behind Mike Pero.
He says that there is daylight between Pero and the next biggest broking chain in New Zealand.
Parore’s business partner Stu Beadle founded the Franchise Shop which now has more than 400 outlets.
