New COO appointment at Southern Cross Healthcare

Lisa Gunnery has been newly appointed to the position of chief operating officer, Insurance Operations for the Southern Cross Medical Care Society. She has extensive global, regional and local experience in the health insurance industry. Most recently she held the role of general manager Health Insurance with Sovereign in New Zealand. Gunnery has also held group management roles for Germany's Allianz Insurance in the Central and Eastern Europe regions as well as Asia Pacific, worked as the general manager, Marketing and Product Development for Aetna Health New Zealand and prior to this for Aetna US Healthcare.
