New head of fixed interest at AMP

Grant Hassell appointed head of fixed interest AMP Capital Investors Grant Hassell, senior portfolio manager, fixed interest for AMP Capital Investors New Zealand has been appointed head of fixed interest for the company.

Hassell joined the fixed interest team in 1988 as fixed interest analyst and has considerable domestic and international experience including a two-year secondment to the Reserve Bank of New Zealand as foreign reserves portfolio manager.

The decision to appoint Hassell to this role follows on from the move late last year to appoint Guy Elliffe to head of equities.
