Edwards gets top job at Perpetual

Louise Edwards is taking over the role of chief executive of Perpetual Trust from July 1. She will replace Peter Baynes who resigned earlier in the year.

Edwards is currently head of customer care at Perpetual, a position she has held since August 2004. She has a background in financial services. Prior to joining Perpetual she ran AXA's platform business, Assure.
