Smedley gets new role at Guardian Trust

Guardian Trust has named Ian Smedley as National Manager – Client Relationships, with responsibility for all Northern Region branches and the nationwide management of Guardian Trust’s new business and relationships. Smedley has been with Guardian Trust for 16 years, and held various roles including Trust Manager, Business Development Manager and Training Manager. In his most recent position he managed the marketing of Guardian Trust’s retail investment funds. In his new role he will be working across a number of departments to ensure clients receive the best possible service and solutions for their estate planning and financial needs. Smedley is a member of the Executor & Trustee Institute and holds a Diploma in Management from the University of Auckland.
