AIA appoints group business manager

AIA has appointed Donnamarie Edwards to the senior role of Group Business Manager. Edwards will work with the large adviser market and her company's regional managers to introduce AIA's employee benefits to business, with the range of policies including life insurance, income protection, and insurance in the event of critical illness or total and permanent disability.
Edwards joins AIA from Southern Cross, where she worked directly with companies as Northern sales manager, leading a team of 35. She has also served as commercial manager for Natural Gas, with responsibility for a group of analysts, key account managers and business and project managers. Edwards holds a degree in electronics and previously worked as a Telecom technician.
