New boss of trustees organisation

Tuesday, March 4th 2008, 10:24PM
The Trustee Corporations Association (TCA) has appointed David Brown Douglas as its executive director.

He is a chartered accountant and company director, and joins the TCA from KPMG where he was responsible for the leadership of the Wellington Corporate Finance Team.

TCA chairman Clynton Hardy says "David has significant experience in the finance and investment banking sectors and brings a combination of commercial experience, a commitment to good governance and an extensive network to further support the TCA's focus on investor and beneficiary protection."

Before joining KPMG in 1990, Douglas held a number of senior management roles in New Zealand and Asia with NatWest Finance and Elderbank.

He succeeds Bob Moffat who has been the TCA's Executive Director for 12 years, who decided to retire at the end of 2007.
