Hanover Group appoints CFO

Hanover Group announced the appointment of Peter Fredricson to the role of chief financial officer.

Fredricson, a highly experienced senior CFO with a proven record in financial services, infrastructure and investment banking in Australasia, Asia and the Pacific, takes up his position on March 31.

His most recent role was CFO of Vector Limited, where he led the successful acquisition of NGC Holdings Limited, and the NZX listing of Vector.

Fredricson has also held roles with Australasian merchant bank Grant Samuel and the New Zealand operation of Merrill Lynch, and is a former Managing Director of Tower Trust Services. Prior to these, he spent three years in Hong Kong as regional finance director for Inchcape Insurance Holdings.

Hanover Group is the holding company for Hanover's businesses, including flagship finance company Hanover Finance.
