AIG announces replacement for Brian Young

Friday, July 18th 2008, 12:08PM
AIG Life has appointed Greg Sibthorpe to the position of Regional Sales Manager in the Auckland region.

He has more than 12 years experience in a range of business development roles within the financial services industry. Sibthorpe has spent the past three and a half years at Sentinel where he was responsible for assisting financial advisers to create marketing and business opportunities in the area of home equity release.

He takes up his position following the retirement of Brian Young, a veteran of the insurance industry and one of the longest-serving members of staff at AIG Life.

AIG has also appointed Tim Pearson to the position of Service Excellence Centre Manager. He will have the responsibility for leading a new contact centre initiative to directly assist the company's customers and insurance consultants.
