ASFONZ appoints new chair
David Ireland has been appointed the new chair of the Association of Superannuation Funds of New Zealand (ASFONZ).

Ireland is a partner at law firm Kensington Swan specialising in financial services law.
He replaces outgoing chairman John Melville of consulting actuary firm Melville Jessup Weaver.
ASFONZ is an independent, not-for-profit member organisation founded in 1969. Its objective is to promote workplace savings in New Zealand.
