Tower adds another equity analyst

Tower Investments has appointed Dan Mead as New Zealand Equities Analyst. He joins an equity team which includes; Paul Robertshawe and Manher Sukha.

Mead joined Tower Asset Management as its compliance officer in May 2000 and in May 2002 was promoted to the investment team as global equity analyst.

He has worked alongside Simon Brodie in international equity research and regional asset allocation and is a member of the product research and development team.

Tower Investments chief executive Sam Stubbs says New Zealand equities is an asset class in which the company has demonstrated a long-term track record of success due "our distinctive value investing philosophy."

"By appointing Dan to augment our analytical skills in New Zealand equity we have further added to our proprietary funds management capabilities in the domestic sharemarket."
