AXA Global Investors boost wholesale team
AXA Global Investors (AXA GI) has announced two new appointments to its wholesale distribution team. Matthew Laing has joined AXA GI as Head of Wholesale and Aaron Klee as Senior Client Relations Manager.

Matthew joins AXA GI with considerable experience in the wholesale market over 18 years. He has worked within the traditional investment management industry, but has more recently been involved with the growing tax exempt sector. Before joining AXA GI he was with Trust Investments. Matthew is based in Auckland.
Aaron has moved to AXA GI from ING where he was a Business Development Manager for the last 7 years. He has 17 years experience in the financial services industry - having previously worked for several leading fund management firms. Aaron is based in Wellington.
Another boost for the AXA GI team is the return of Kirsty Stoddart from maternity leave. Kirsty is Client Relations Manager for AXA GI, and along with Kate Pickering (Client Relations Analyst) provide strong depth and support in the wholesale team.
General Manager of AXA GI, Peter Verhaart, says the strengthening of the wholesale distribution team is a strong statement of commitment to the wholesale investment market. "One of AXA's medium term strategic goals is to develop our wholesale business, and we are building a strong and experienced team to grow our market share. Our wholesale team is now very well resourced to handle the growth we are anticipating in the wholesale market." Verhaart adds.
