Butler stays on for another year

Code Committee chairman Ross Butler will remain in his position for another year, as will Committee members David Ireland, and Gary Young.
The Commissioner of Financial Advisers David Mayhew said the decision to have the members continue for another year is based on the assumption that by then the whole regime will be up and running.
He said once the Code is approved, the Committee will also be refreshed with an additional three members, maintaining the correct balance between practitioners, legal professionals and consumer experience.
