Tyndall adds client relationship manager

Friday, December 20th 2013, 6:06AM

Michael Robson joined the Tyndall as its new client relationship manager.

He will be responsible for servicing Tyndall NZ’s clients, working alongside the Head of Distribution and the wider Tyndall NZ team to support and grow institutional and intermediated retail relationships.

Robson joins Tyndall after six years with ASB Securities as a Wholesale Broker looking after institutional and wholesale trading and managing the Institutional DMA platform.

“Michael joins the Tyndall team at an exciting time and will help to shape the future direction of Tyndall’s business development, which is focused on becoming New Zealand’s leading investment manager.” commented James Wesley, Head of Distribution at Tyndall.

“The growth of KiwiSaver is an exciting development for the industry. As Tyndall is New Zealand’s only investment manager owned by a global asset manager and offers a diverse range of
institutional-calibre investment solutions, Tyndall is ideally placed to participate in this growth.”

“Investors are increasingly looking for investment managers whose primary focus is investment management. In particular investment managers that provide a breadth of domestic and international assets in both traditional asset classes and alternatives are poised to benefit from growth in the NZ investment industry.” Wesley noted. “Having worked at ASB and Tower, Michael’s enthusiasm and relationship management ability will help to strengthen Tyndall’s existing institutional client relationships and broaden the distribution reach to the New Zealand
intermediated retail market.”
