Salt hires equity analyst
Salt Funds Management has appointed Mike Kenealy as equity analyst.

He worked for Goldman Sachs JBWere in research and trading roles and then travelled to Peru and worked as investment analyst and portfolio manager for Makipura Microfinance and Solid Investments, a philanthropic fund.
He returned to NZ in 2014. At Salt, he will initially focus on companies in the media and transport sectors as well as providing quantitative support for the portfolio managers.
Salt said the appointment illustrated its commitment to an experienced, fully resourced team to meet growth in products and funds under management.
Salt manages more than $700m of investments in the NZ and Australian equity markets.
