Wondering what was happening in the fire and general insurance space? These are uncertain times with a global pandemic, low interest rates, unprecedented natural disasters, and significant government interventions – just to name a few of the influencers on the hardening of the global markets.

This webinar has been designed to provide you with an overview of the fire and general insurance market and the trends in New Zealand and globally. In particular the webinar will discuss the macro-economics of the insurance world, focus on property reinsurance, casualty reinsurance and rating agencies.

This session will be beneficial for all financial advisers to give you a better understanding of the fire and general insurance markets and improve your professional knowledge.

Presented by John Carroll, Head of Broking, Reinsurance Solutions, for Aon’s Australian & New Zealand. John has been at Aon for the last 10 years and previously was Senior Vice President at Guy Carpenter and Head of Client Management at Swiss Re. John has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Science from the University of Melbourne.
