The Semi-annual Meet the Managers Roadshow.
This Roadshow has been designed by Heathcote Investment Partners for the New Zealand industry, and represents the collaborative efforts of many of the industry’s leading investment managers.
The theme for this Meet the Managers is The End of the World as we know it. Are the trends in the aftermath of the GFC cyclical or structural, and whilst investment markets may normalize, has investor behaviour changed permanently?
t’s an unusual time in the investment world, characterised by ultra low interest rates, exceptional action by central banks, high correlation between different asset classes, risk aversion, and the ongoing search for yield.
With the backdrop of the GFC still fresh in our minds, the challenge is for investment professionals to meet the changing needs of investors, by understanding the various investment insights, projections and tools that are available.
