Our next industry breakfast series is being held on the 5th and 6th November. We’re very pleased to welcome Katie Whiffen, Portfolio Specialist Manager, National Australia Bank, as our guest speaker.
The topic: Leapfrog - Key learnings from 25 years in defined contribution retirement savings
Australia's defined contribution retirement savings system has been around for nearly 25 years, and NAB (through MLC) has provided unitised super funds since 1989.
Katie will talk about the key challenges facing investors and product providers within Australia's superannuation system and discuss how NAB are addressing the issues of longevity, safe withdrawal rates, spending requirements and expectations, investor engagement and communication.
These discussions are aimed at showing how KiwiSaver can easily leapfrog Australia's superannuation system in providing some of the world's best outcomes for investors, businesses and society.
