WSNZ & WiS Industry Breakfast with Dr Ian Woods

Workplace Savings NZ & Women in Super are pleased to present Dr Ian Woods (Head of ESG Research, AMP Capital) as guest speaker for the November breakfast function in Wellington. The topic: "What is it to be a responsible investor?" Ian will explore the concept that responsible investing is not only what you invest in, but also the relationship you have with the companies as well as the broader policy debates relevant to investors. He will cover the investment and values issues, including the financial benefits and risks, associated with not investing in certain companies. Using examples from corporate governance, climate change and company management of supply chains, Ian will provide examples of how engaging with companies can provide a better outcome for investors and broader society.
