Alex Gunz manages the Heptagon Future Trends Equity Fund. This is a follow-up to the first interview we did with Alex just over a year ago. Alex discusses the fund, a 5G play, his views on the cannabis sector, key questions around ESG and his outlook for equities in H219. Launched in 2016, the fund is a daily traded, unlevered UCITS fund registered in Dublin and is Heptagon’s third in-house fund under its UCITS umbrella. The fund invests in businesses exposed to long-term future trends, which are characterised by their exponential growth potential, the increased efficiency they bring and their inherently disruptive potential.
