Underwood was formerly CEO of AXA New Zealand, Sterling Grace Portfolio Management Limited (part of Spicers) and Emerald Group (Food Division).

Underwood’s appointment allows current managing director of Sentinel Richard Coon to step aside to guide international expansion.
