Chris O'Neale has been appointed as manager, New Zealand
fixed interest and currency at WestpacTrust Financial Services.This appointment completes the current restructuring at Westpac Financial Services.
O'Neale's main area of expertise centres on the fixed interest markets, including NZ and international bond markets, as well as derivatives and currency management.
His fixed interest portfolio management performance in the past has has been consistently above benchmark, and he has experience in fixed interest markets from both the sell and buy sides.
O'Neale has spent the past four years at Prudential Portfolio Managers (in NZ and Australia) as a director, investment management and portfolio manager. Prior to that he was with Tower Portfolio Maname
