BT Funds Management (NZ) Ltd is pleased to announce the appointment of Mike Newton as Head of Retail. At BT Newton will be responsible for managing retail distribution.
He comes to BT from the Sovereign group where, as director of investment services, he was responsible for their funds management and funds administration businesses. Newton has 16 years of extensive experience in the New Zealand and Australian funds management industry.
Newton holds a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology in Sydney and a DFP from Deakin University in Melbourne. BT welcomes Mike to the team and is looking forward to his contribution to the growing success of the BT Funds Management business in New Zealand. Newton fills a position left vacant when Richard Riddell left to join NZ Assets Management.
