McKay forms new firm

Monday, August 26th 2002, 1:20PM
Bruce McKay, former head of research at DF Mainland Securities, has established his own investment banking and corporate advisory firm, Saffron Capital Ltd.
Saffron Capital offers investment banking and corporate finance advice to corporate clients. It offers the full complement of investment banking services, including mergers and acquisition advice and private equity funding.
Saffron draws on the expertise of its principal in specialising in the highly technical areas of project valuation, financial modelling and transaction structuring. Through Saffron, Bruce McKay is currently working alongside CFO Wayne Collins, at the new-look TranzRail.

McKay entered the financial markets 15 years ago initially as an analyst for FPG Research (now Morningstar), Cavill White Securities (now part of Forsyth Barr), infrastructure investment manager Morrison & Co and more recently DF Mainland Securities.
