Dakin heads Colonial Prop Fund

Colonial First State Property have announced that John Dakin will be appointed to the role of general manager, Colonial First State Property Trust from February 2003.Dakin, a senior executive with Colonial First State Property in Sydney, moves into the role following the decision by current Wellington-based Colonial First State Property general manager, Lloyd Cundy, to pursue property development interests in a private capacity.
Dakin joined Colonial First State Property in October 2000 focussing on business development for the group. More recently he held operational responsibility for Colonial First State Property’s New Zealand interests.
Prior to joining Colonial First State Property, Dakin was national director of the Property Council of New Zealand.
Dakin will be based in Auckland.
