ASB Group appoints portfolio managers

ASB Group Investments has announced the appointments of Jason Ferguson and Peter Freeman to the roles of portfolio manager in the investment management team.
Ferguson is responsible for all ASB Group Investments' equities and listed property assets. He has previously managed ASB Group Investments' domestic bond and alternative assets portfolios. Ferguson who has been in the industry for 10 years' brings experience from I Grow Investment Bank, Royal & Sun Alliance and Guardian Assurance.
Freeman is responsible for all ASB Group Investments' fixed interest, income and cash assets. Freeman has 10 years of experience with ASB Group Investments. During his tenure he has been responsible for strategic asset allocation for all ASB Group Investments' product ranges. He has also been actively involved in asset & liability management for Sovereign Assurance, New Zealand's largest life insurance company.
