Vriens joins Dorchester
Former TOWER and Asteron man joins Dorchester's life insurance business.

Dr Antony Vriens has been appointed as an independent director and chairman of Dorchester Pacific's insurance subsidiary DPL Insurance.
"Antony is a highly experienced and commercial, senior financial services professional with demonstrated success as a general manager and director in insurance and wealth businesses within Australia and New Zealand. He was previously general manager product and pricing with Tower New Zealand and prior to that general manager Risk at Asteron Life."
He is currently on the Insurance and Savings Ombudsman board.
Dorchester Pacific told shareholders at its recent annual meeting that the insurance subsidiary was currently trading ahead of forecast following the launch of a suite of consumer insurance products under the Mainstream brand earlier in the year.
