BT gets a new manager from the super fund

Westpac-owned BT Funds Management has appointed a new head of research.

David Oxley has joined the BT equities research team, from the NZ Super Fund where he was a senior analyst.

Oxley has 22 years of financial markets experience beginning his career with UK investment management firms where he covered sectors such as engineering, aerospace and defence. His background in the UK also includes the design and development of equity research and investment processes.

He came to New Zealand in 2005 and was a senior research analyst with Craigs Investment Partners covering building materials, agriculture and food, tourism and leisure and healthcare. More recently he has been a senior


analyst with the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation, where he was responsible for sourcing opportunities to exploit investment thematics identified by the Fund

foundation for our investment decisions," BT's Paul Harrison says.
