Withers appointed to ANZ
Joan Withers has been appointed to the ANZ board.

The bank said she would become an independent director of ANZ Bank New Zealand, on July 1.
The move has been approved by the Reserve Bank.
She is a former chief executive of Fairfax Media and The Radio Network. Withers is currently chairperson of Auckland International Airport and Mighty River Power, and deputy chair of TVNZ.
