by Susan Edmunds

He set up Collaborative Consulting Ltd this month.

It will provide implementation of comprehensive financial planning, advise businesses on ownership structures, succession planning, governance and risk management. He will also act as an adviser coach and mentor and provide business advisory board advice.

Milner said he would also complete a master’s degree.

“I had been at Britannia a long time and there were areas I wanted to look at with financial planning. It was time to move on and my business partners were happy to buy me out.”

Milner has been in the financial services industry since 1988.
