The Financial Markets Authority has appointed a prosecutor to oversee its enforcement work.

Thursday, April 13th 2017, 11:23AM

Karen Chang has been hired as head of enforcement.

She has moved to the FMA from Meredith Connell where she worked as a prosecutor representing FMA, particularly on the finance company cases.

She has more than 14 years’ experience of commercial litigation and criminal prosecution, in New Zealand, Australia and New York.

The FMA said she would be responsible for all aspects of its litigation and enforcement activities.
