Fidelity Life makes top People and Culture appointment

Tanya Hadfield has been appointed as the Head of People and Culture at New Zealand’s largest locally-owned life insurer, Fidelity Life.

“We are delighted to welcome Tanya to our team. Tanya is a highly talented executive with more than 20 years’ experience in New Zealand’s insurance industry,” Nadine Tereora, Chief Executive Officer at Fidelity Life says.

“As a key member of our Executive Leadership Team Tanya will help us build on our already strong culture and support our focus on high performance and engagement. People are at the core of everything we do and getting the right people for the job, who are highly engaged, will allow us to deliver great service to our advisers, partners and customers.”

Prior to joining Fidelity Life, Ms Hadfield spent two years as the Chief People Officer at Partners Life. She has previously worked as the Executive General Manager for People and Culture at IAG New Zealand, Regional Director for Human Resources in the Asia & Middle East Region for Royal Sun Alliance, as well as National Human Resources Manager for ACE Insurance and Human Resources Manager for Sovereign Insurance.

Ms Hadfield has been a member of the Insurance Council of New Zealand’s Employment and Education committee, a member of the Australia, New Zealand Institute of Insurance and Finance Advisory Board and she is an ICC Accredited Business Coach.
