Auld takes advice role

A financial advisory firm has hired a new investment manager who has held many key sales roles in the industry.

Friday, July 6th 2018, 6:00AM

Stuart Auld says a new role as investment manager at Imak Advice will allow him to see the industry “from the other side of the fence”.

He has taken the role with the Auckland-based firm, tasked with coming up with a best-of-breed investment solution and  a compliant and client-centric advice process, managing the firm;’s current investment clients and looking for future growth opportunities.

He was previously a senior consultant and KiwiSaver sales manager with Aon Hewitt, and head of sales for Morningstar in New Zealand.

Auld, who is an AFA with an extensive UK pension book, said the new role would be a challenge that would put him on the “other side of the fence” from his role at Morningstar.

Imak provides investment and insurance advice.
