With all the current ‘doom and gloom’ being preached at us regarding the property market, be inspired by our June cover story! We talk to inspirational property investor, Laurence Pope. This young man is fast becoming world famous in Paeroa for his redevelopment of a run-down street, locally known as ‘Harlem’. At just 24 years of age, Pope has big plans for his 16 ex-state houses.

What’s the plan Stan? We’ve heard all about the current state of the market, but what should property investors be doing about it? We talk to property veterans about what you should be doing to make sure you survive the current downturn and not lose everything in the process.

The ANZ Property Investment Survey results are out and shows property investors are surprisingly optimistic about the market and its outlook for the next five years, although not quite everyone sees the glass as being half full.

In Michael Yardney’s second column on how to successfully create wealth, he explains why it’s so important to step outside your comfort zone and into the unknown.

Our profile this month is on Mark Ferguson, a property chameleon. We talk to this property investing real estate agent about changing skins to roll with the market.

This month, the NZ Property Investor is giving subscribers a chance to win one of four tickets to the New Zealand Property Investors' Federation Conference 2008 in Rotorua, each worth $695!
