Wednesday, November 7th 2018, 3:02PM 3 Comments

Dean McDougall joined the dealer group in August last year.

But in a statement from chairman Burton Shipley, the group said his position had come to an end on November 1.

He had had a positive impact,e specially in terms of process and compliance, Shipley said.

"We thank Dean for his contribution and wish him well for his future endeavours."

McDougall shifted to financial services after 36 years with the navy.

McDougall finished his career as Commodore, and deputy chief. He contested for the navy’s top job and came off second, so bowed out. “In that sort of pyramid, the progression structure is up and out. It wasn’t in my game plan," he said in an interview with Asset magazine.
